1.    Text: 1 Samuel 10:1-6

2.    What anointing does in people's life: When God anoints your life -
a.    You will receive extraordinary good news. Samuel told Saul that he would meet two people who will give him good news concerning his father's asses that were lost. You have been waiting for good news concerning your papers, today, God will do it for you.

b.    All your outstanding issues will be resolved: Saul was worried about his father, the lost assets and the state of his family's finances. But because of the anointing of God in his life, God gave him divine solution to all his problems. Every loss and damage that the enemy has done in your life, in your career, in your health, in your finances, in your home, etc. the LORD Almighty will restore them today in Jesus name

c.    You will receive extraordinary favor: Saul would meet 3 people on his way that would present him with 2 loaves of bread to meet his hunger. Every outstanding need in your life will be met today in Jesus name. God will grant you extraordinary favor. Isaiah 61:5 says, "Foreigners will be your servants. They will feed your flocks and plow your fields and tend your vineyards."

d.    The Spirit of God will descend heavily upon you and fill you to overflowing: The Spirit of God fell on Saul and he started prophesying. The Spirit of God is a great enlightener. The Bible says in John 16:13, "Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come." This means the Spirit will give you direction in life's situation.

e.    You will have a permanent change of condition: Saul was told that he would become another man. When God's anointing is upon you, He will immediately give you a new attitude and transform and metamorphose you into a new altitude and a new persona. God will give your mockers, despisers, doubters and enemies a surprise package.
f.    All your diseases will be cured. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the Church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the LORD: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; if he had committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." The anointing breaks the bondage of sin and root out every foreign agent in the body. It is only the anointing that can renew your youth like the eagle.

g.    Your ministry will be enhanced: Isaiah 61:1 says, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;" The anointing separates you from the pact and sets you apart for assignments that only few can do. Acts 1:8 says, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." The power and the wherewithal to operate in your new position will automatically be given to you. This is the enduement from above!

h.    You will have supernatural wisdom and understanding: When you are anointed by God, His Spirit reveals to you things that you ordinarily do not and cannot know. 1 John 2:27 says, "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." Job 32:8 says, "But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives understanding." (NCV) Isaiah 50:4 adds, "The Lord God gave me the ability to teach so that I know what to say to make the weak strong. Every morning he wakes me. He teaches me to listen like a student." (NCV)

i.    Every yoke and fetters in your life is broken: Isaiah 10:27 says, "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing." The anointing of God in your life is able to unlock all your closed doors; open your closed heavens; break your shackles; shatter your chains; give you unconditional, uninterrupted and unhindered breakthrough.

•    Your limitation is lifted: In Judges 16: 1-12, Samson was tied and bound by the woven ropes of a conniving and adulterous Delilah, with the Philistines surrounding him. The anointing of God in his life triggered supernatural that easily broke the barrier and limitations of the ropes. As long as the anointing was in him, he could not be limited by ropes or his enemy's army. The anointing of God removes every racial, sexual and social limitation.

3.    Conclusion: Anointing of God is all you need to conquer world's daily test and troubles. It is the anointing that can make a difference in your life. 1 John 2:20 says, "But ye have the unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. Whatever you need, the anointing will provide. Believe the LORD and the abundant unction from above will be yours in Jesus' name. Amen!
